This web page is for all the kids who were either born or grew up at RAF Upper Heyford.
You can submit photos of family and friends at RAF Upper Heyford, family outtings, photos at
school or of school events at RAF Upper Heyford or RAF Croughton, organized clubs you were
in, family or kid photos at church, church picnics, and well, you get the idea. Moms and
Dads of Heyford airbase kids are welcomed to participate, of course!

"Got to Heyford 1958-59 from a all boys school Fortescue House Boys School
Twickenham London. at the age 11 with another english boy Kevin Schofield.
now Miller I think. I was adopted by Ben J Tomlinson who became the Scoutmaster
troop 220 or 222 we left for the states in March 1961 I was 13 by then. and I
knew nothing about american money as we had funny money on base at the time. I
do have some family photo's that where taken at Heyford. It was a big change
in my life."

"A rare Boy Scouts of America (B.S.A.) Embroidered Patch
( Mayflower District ) dated 1986. Mayflower District ( as far as I am aware )
included RAF Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire and the Bicester and Croughton area."
