Twickenham London. at the age 11 with another english boy Kevin Schofield.
now Miller I think. I was adopted by Ben J Tomlinson who became the Scoutmaster
troop 220 or 222 we left for the states in March 1961 I was 13 by then. and I
knew nothing about american money as we had funny money on base at the time. I
do have some family photo's that where taken at Heyford. It was a big change
in my life."

Heyford Hikers
"The Heyford Hikers 1st Anglo American Walking Club. I did one of the walks
organised by the club, I can't remember the date but it was around 1986-88,
starting from the base it was a circular family walk down to the village and
around the immediate countryside".
