"My dad was US Army RET and worked for AAFES at High Wycombe but in the summer he would go to Upper Heyford and work up there. He got this as a kind of appreciation from a navigator he knew." Submitted by Julian Smith.

"Here's a pic of an EF-111 coming in for some gas. I worked in Base Supply (MICAP) from May of 87-89 and cross trained into KC-135s as a boom operator. So it was always a pleasure to refuel 111s from Heyford." Submitted by Mike Cahill.
