The 1950's

"Prior to the 1960's there were three squadrons: 3918th MV Sq., 3918th Food Service Sq., and 3918th Supply Sq. Then they mergered into one squadron called: the 3918th Air Base Squadron. Around 1962, they split up again into about four squadrons. Transportation Squadron, Food Service Squadron, Supply Squadron, and Support Squadron". Jim Seymour

"Note: Middleton Stoney Hospital was vacated by the Brits but when TDY groups came in some of the Squadrons including the Motor Vehicle Squadron moved out to Middleton Stoney to make room on base for the visitors."
