From Thomas Edwards, A/1C, 11th ADS which later became the 11th MMS. Honored as the Outstanding Airman at Upper Heyford in 1959. Member of the Upper Heyford fast pitch softball team, 1960, who came in 2nd in the European championships. Chosen to the allstar team and named the outstanding shortstop in 7th Air Division.
